Fragments of Want

Artist’s Statement:

This rendering was created for an assignment that prompted me to make a still life based on the theme “consumerism.” In my composition, I focused on everyday objects that represent modern buying habits and overconsumption often influenced by social media. By arranging these items together, I wanted to highlight how material goods often take on greater importance in our lives than they should. The way the objects are displayed reflects overconsumption, encouraging viewers to think about the impact of constant consumption on individuals and society.
