Man Creates Ideal Woman by Naomi Komatsu - photo by ZoeOppenheimer

Honeysuckle hair melts down her forehead
Caressing opaque cheeks painted ballet slipper pink
Hiding marble eyes stained powder blue
Plastered onto the
Papier-mâché girl.

Rosy crescents are upturned
Into an everlasting smile
Slathered onto the
Papier-mâché girl.

White, sticky drops smother the frame
Of individuality
As the manufacturer seals the wrapper onto the next
Papier-mâché girl.
