Hello! My name is Tilly Raij (she/her), and I’m a member of the class of 2028 at Winter Park High School in Winter Park, FL. I am in the International Baccalaureate program there and also participate in the yearbook, newspaper, Beta Club, and Jewish Student Union. I have been published in J Life, Orlando’s Jewish lifestyle magazine. Besides writing, another passion of mine is singing in HaZamir: The International Jewish Teen Choir, including at Carnegie Hall! At my synagogue, I serve as vice president of communications for our USY chapter, volunteer as a madricha (teaching assistant) at the Hebrew school, and babysit a very cute three-year-old congregant!
In my free time, I love to read, listen to a variety of music, and practice my Spanish to impress my grandparents. Since I was little, I’ve loved reading and writing, and I’m very fortunate to have two loving parents, a younger brother, and the most amazing friends who support me in everything I do. I’m excited to serve on the jGirls+ editorial board and see what we can accomplish!
