Hi! I’m Sadie Sherman (she/her), and I’m a member of the class of 2027 at Charlottesville High School in Charlottesville, VA. I love Latin and am proud to be active in my school’s program as well as statewide groups such as the Virginia Junior Classical League. While I love reading ancient authors, I’m also an avid reader of everything, and I spend a lot of time writing fiction with my best friend. My writing has won various citywide competitions, and I hope to stage a play I’m working on soon. I also love music and play viola in my school’s orchestra as well as in a quartet playing gigs. I sing contralto in an all-girls show choir, the Knightengales, where we cover mainly jazz standards and showtunes. I also compete in speech and debate, teach Hebrew at my synagogue, and crew for my school’s theater productions. When I’m not busy with these activities, I love old musicals, thrifting, and watching Arrested Development.
