Hi! My name is Ruby Harris (she/her), and I’m a member of the class of 2027 from Edmond, OK. I’m an active member in my Jewish community, serving as the programming vice president of NFTY-TOR (Texas-Oklahoma Region) and president of OKATY (Oklahoma Association of Temple Youth). Additionally, I proudly serve on the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Teen Board and the Homeless Alliance Teen Service Board, and at school, I participate in French Club, Pep Club, and Coffee Club. I love to stay busy!
Performing arts and vocal performance have always been an important part of my life. In May of 2025, I participated in the Kelli O’Hara Awards Ensemble. I’m also a three-year medalist for both the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association (OCDA) All-State Choir and Central-OCDA Regional Choir. In January of 2025, I was selected for the OCDA All-State Jazz Choir and vocally accompanied the Oklahoma Music Educators Association All-State Jazz Band. My favorite fun facts about myself are that I have a singular, freakishly long gray eyelash and that my name doubles as my birthstone!
