Hi, I’m Elyana Plotkin (she/her), a member of the class of 2026 from Cleveland, Ohio. I use photography, mostly black and white, to capture real moments that reflect how I see the world. This has led me to teach a class and have my work shown in galleries. I’m always looking for new ways to grow creatively.
Outside of photography, my passion is science. I’ve worked on a few public health projects, becoming an intern to help teach youth sex education and joining ACT UP on their mission of ending the AIDS crisis through direct action and advocacy. I am ready to keep growing as an artist and advocate for the communities I care about.
