Artist’s Statement
This picture was taken outside of a park in New York City. The little girl reminded me of the innocence of childhood and the freedom to wear unicorns, rainbows, and get ice cream after school. I love the contrast between the girl and the person next to her who is wearing duller colors. The two subjects are united through their love of ice cream.
