Porch Onions

Artist’s statement: “My childhood growing up on a farm in rural Kentucky was steeped in vegetables. One year we braided onions on twine and hung them all over our front porch, lacking other storage space. The farm gave me a whole new perspective on abundance—plenty is great, but it also means that a lot of work is ahead.”
