Artist Statement: This piece is about some very prominent issues such as gun violence, climate change, and the rise in antisemitism. The translation of the Hebrew in this piece is “Hear our cries”. This is referring to the millions suffering currently because of these issues. Everyone of these problems affect us everyday in ways some of us don’t even realize and it is important that we do what we can to help spread awareness.
